X Defend Pedal lock for Defender

4WDrive X Defend Pedal lock for Defender is a heavy-duty, permanently-mounted pedal security device designed to prevent operation of the clutch, brake and throttle on right-hand drive Defenders up to TD5 models without air conditioning. The lock folds flat against the cab floor and seat box when not in use, allowing normal floor-mat coverage and avoiding the need to carry a separate 20kg removable lock.

Operation is fast: release the catch, swing the unit into position and a 10mm steel claw grabs the brake pedal shaft and ratchets securely. Unlocking is by key, which releases the pedal and allows the unit to fold back flat. Constructed from corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel with formed hinges and a 6mm stainless pin, the X Defend is supplied with a British-made, anti-drill Lowe & Fletcher RPT lock for enhanced physical security.

Please note fitment caveats: this product does NOT fit Series or Tdci / TD4 / Puma Defenders. Early Defender bonnet pull brackets may foul the unit; some vehicles require relocating or replacing the bonnet pull bracket (a TD5-type bonnet pull is available from us at extra cost).
