A: Self-fit trackers are installed and monitored by you. Thatcham-approved trackers are professionally fitted and monitored 24/7—ideal for insurance compliance and police response. THE COST FOR INSTALLATION ON ALL THATCHAM TRACKERS IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Q: Do your trackers offer immobilisation?
A: Yes, our Defender Plus, Defender Plus ULTRA, S5 Plus, and S5 Plus ULTRA all include immobilisation features for added theft prevention.
Q: Will the tracker alert me if someone tows or moves my vehicle?
A: Yes! All our trackers send instant alerts for towing, movement without ignition, and even battery disconnects.
Q: Can I set geofence alerts?
A: Absolutely. You can create custom “safe zones” and receive notifications if your vehicle enters or leaves them.

Q: Is there a mobile app to track my vehicle?

Q: Who monitors the tracker?
A: For self-fit units, you monitor it yourself via the app. Thatcham-approved devices include 24/7 professional monitoring and recovery assistance.

Q: Can I install the tracker myself?
A: Our self-fit models are designed for easy DIY installation. If you'd prefer, we can arrange professional fitting for an additional cost.
Q: Are your trackers waterproof?
A: Yes—all LRD Track devices are rated IP67 waterproof, meaning they’re built to withstand all weather conditions.
Q: Will your trackers work on older or ex-military Land Rovers?
A: Yes, all our trackers support a 9–90V range, making them compatible with classic and ex-military Land Rovers without a voltage stepper.
