X Defend Gear Stick Lock LT77 for Land Rover Defender
X Defend Gear Stick Lock LT77 for Land Rover Defender provides a robust mechanical security solution for earlier LT77 and LT85 gearboxes (including 200Tdi and earlier). Constructed from high-strength 3.25mm-wall CDS tube and fitted with British Lowe & Fletcher Radial Pin Tumbler (RPT) lock barrels, the unit resists picking and drilling while locking the vehicle in High range (3rd or 5th gear depending on engagement).
The two-piece bayonet design clamps around the gear stick and transfer lever, twisting to lock in place and offering three tube-length positions to accommodate vehicle variation. The kit includes a security nut to deter unbolting of the gear stick and a lock nut to stop removal of the transfer-lever knob. Installation is straightforward but requires the gear lever to be in its factory orientation.
