Movement without key in the ignition (Only availabel on 'Defender Plus' and 'S5 Plus')
Movement without the key in the ignition, if the vehicle is moved without the Land Rover started, then you get a push notification back to your phone.
Battery cutoff and towing/movement at height alert (Available on all models)
If the battery to the Land Rover Defender is cut off, then the tracker will immediately use the inbuilt battery to keep notifications coming to you. However most importantly you will get a push notification or email to advise you that the battery has been cut. on the S5, this comes in the form of a phone call from the fully monitored support centre.
Geofences (Available on all models)
You can set up keep in or keep out Geofences on the tracker. The most important in this scenario is the keep in Geofences. Set up on your phone for your home address for example, you will get notifications when the fence is armed every time the Land Rover enters or leaves the geofence. Early warning in the event of a theft...
Track Manager app (Available on all models)
We have partnered with track manager to enhance the support for our customers. The software that track manager have developed is used on 40 000 units at any one time. with that list growing daily, you can rest assured that the service offered is second to none. Unfortunately this does mean that the subscription is marginally more expensive but we would rather sell a tried and tested product/service than be worried about the theft of our customers vehicles.
Back up battery (Available on all models)
So as this suggests the back up battery is charged continually, so if the battery is disconnected then the tracker can still track. it can track for up to 6 days, but in normal operation that will drop down. Crucially, if you have a theft of your Land Rover, then get in touch, and we can set it up to report in less times. the benefit of this is that the battery life will be extended. So we can buy more time to track the vehicle in the event of a theft.
Thatcham approval (Available on all models)
You can buy one of our Thatcham approved units out of the box so to speak, however if you would like to do an installation yourself, then we can supply the 'Defender' or 'Defender Plus' which can then be upgraded later on should you insurance require you to do it. Thus future proofing the product and allowing you to save some money, certain requirements will be required to ensure this can be done. But for those who would like to fit themselves its a great way to save and also we know that a lot of owners like to work on there Landy's themselves, so you know it will be done right...
Fobs (Only available on 'Defender Plus' and 'S5 Plus')
We can supply the Defender Plus with a Fob for immobilisation we can also enable your phone to provide immobilsation if this is more convenient, with the fob being used for service requirements when the Land Rover goes into the garage.
